Truly harrowing but also a little bit slapstick. I'd almost call it a black comedy. I laughed out loud several times.

What are the characteristics of a "real woman"?
If we're looking for the exact same qualities in men and women we might as well do away with the "man" and " woman" part. "What are the characteristics of a real human being?" Doesn't have the same ring to it.

What are the characteristics of a "real woman"?
I thought you might say that. I disagree with the premise of the article: that what makes a man or woman a real man or woman is their attractiveness/suitability as a partner.

What are the characteristics of a "real woman"?
That's fine. I'm happy enough being the male lead's weak little sister or something.

In the first few episodes I teared up in nearly every scene with Cha Hong Do. Mostly because I relate to her character;…
I watched the first episode but I can't bring myself to watch any more. People with extreme behaviours are either viewed with sentimentality or viewed with contempt. The scene in the police station was such a true to life example of that, drawing out the cornered Cha Hong Do's defiance.
Adding to that the other aspects you mention, plus Cha Hong Do's bitterness towards other people and herself, I thought it was a remarkably 3-dimensional portrayal of SAD.
