off to a good start

This is not a show for the squeamish. It is totally gross. I can say one thing...no one can say this drama started out slow. It was one thing after another.

First Dr. Jin wakes up in the middle or nowhere presumably back in time and stumbles onto a fight, gets chased, almost dies from falling off a cliff, then passes out.

We then see him in the present time operating on someone that has a fetus in his head??? Totally weird. They put the fetus in a bottle.

He then has a sweet interaction with apparent long term girlfriend Mi Na. The next day he has a fight with Mi Na over a patient that ends up dead. Mi Na is so upset as she drives away that she gets into a car accident that leaves her needing surgery wich Dr. Jin performs. (that is sketchy, because I don't think they let close family and freinds operate) Anyway, she ends up in a coma.

The whole time he is operating he hears a voice in his head that causes him problems saying he needs to go back. The patient that had the fetus in his head wakes up, romes around the hospital getting medical supplies and takes the fetus. He meats the guy on the rooftop and struggles with him then ends up jumping to catch the fetus and flies off the roof into a previous time period. All of that happens in the first 30 minutes of the show.

Dr. Jin wakes up and starts following the man that saved him from falling off the cliff and asks enough questions to figure out what year it is.

There is a bounty put out for him. The man that saved him is Lee Ha Eung. He is taking him to get the reward when they run into some thugs.I think Lee Jae Yong that I just saw on The Equator Man is playing the thug boss. Anyway, he saves the thug boss's life and the guy that was going to turn him in starts to help him. Ha Eung realizes that Dr Jin would never kill anyone and is not part of the gang that the authorities suspect him to be.

Dr Jin then sees a girl that looks like Mi Na named Young Rae. He follows her but loses her only to see her later when he finds her brother hurt in the streets.

There...now if that isn't an action packed episode, then I don't know what is.

Time Slip Dr. Jin

First of all, I'll tell you I'm a Jaejoong fan..... You can face this as a biased review, but I hope not :P

This is my second time writing it.. because I was not familiar to review episodes, so I lost the review T.T

Anyway... the drama starts with Dr. Jin in Josean Era. After walking a bit, he bumps into a war... He thinks they're shooting a movie, at least when Kyung Tak appears and starts shooting people.... he sees a guy who was trying to kill him fall beside him, and after a while he found out that the blood wasn't fake.

When Kyung Tak approaches Jin, he makes him fall and runs... After it, the plot does a flashback to the present 2012 and show us his powerful skills as a doctor and beautiful romance with his girlfriend.

I honestly loved the interaction between those two. I think Seung Hun is a great actor, and even though I don't really like MinYoung I have to admit that she performed it without flaws. It made me wish that the romance was in the present... lol

They keep showing us the kind of guy Dr. Jin is, and how he is always looking for perfection. He doesn't admit any fails, however he also shows a side of him that's a bit harsh with patients.... That's when he and his girlfriend argues and everything is turned upside down.

Somehow this reminds me of Rooftop Prince, in a sense that it had somehow a mistery to solve. Not something as huge as in RTP, but exactly the reason why he was brought to the past and what was that thing (baby?) that brought him... Or the voices that he heard before... or the man who was trying to jump or make the bottle with that thing/baby fall....

There was a confusing matter, because they showed some flashbacks and repeated them... there was a bit confusing, it didn't have a chronological order...

In a matter of minutes, the flashback ends and the Josean era starts again. Having to disguise himself not to be caught by the guards of Kyung Tak, he hides his face....

At the end of the episode, he sees a guy hurt and brings him to his house with a help of a man. Then he sees that the guy is the brother of his girlfriend of the past.... The episode finishes there, making us think of her last words "Don't worry, Jin. I'll come back".

Overall this drama seems promising... The only thing I dislike is having 24 episodes... for a drama like this, it doesn't seem that appealing since I don't get the main point of the story... I just hope it doesn't drag a lot...

I can sigh with a relief now..

I also sad it's over.

But it was sure one thrilling drama.

The last episode offered us little surprises and there were some powerful scenes.

How everything was solved was very interesting.. but the last scene with everything being alright.. were just a little dissapointing.. I had hoped something more.. even though it was all right. Worth watching.. .)

One thing I won't forgive is the death of Shi Kyung !!!

Grrr...

The previous episodes were a bit slow, not bad, just slow, but in this episode the drama picked up its pace again.

I hope they don't try to harm Wol Ah. I'm going to be so mad if something happens to her.

I like Song I less and less with each episode that passes. Why does this actress always play characters who get smitten and they always seem to think it's love? No, I don't think she is in love. I think she just wants a new possession because she is a spoiled brat who is used to always getting what she wants. And she just might once again. I hope she dies a miserable death at the end (or before) of the drama.

Eun Shi Kyung!!!!!

I'm unable to give this episode lower points. But just like everybody else - I hate that Eun Shi Kyung died !!!

I feel so sorry for princess ( she has already had so many reasons so suffer - so their taking the last light away from her life ) and I really liked Shi Kyung's character. Really - why did he have to die ??? Wasn't there already enough death in previous episodes ??

Nice beginning

The first episode started really dramatic and sad. I felt so bad for both Yuzu and her mother, because both were desperate. :/

I'm really glad she gave birth, but I feel like she should get some real help because she can't handle her baby like that!

I also like the health care lady. :)

Then I was a little surprised / shocked that Himawari was suddenly 2 or even 3 years old within a second? I think that was way too fast. oO

And I hope Sou-chan's wife won't make any problems. If she even is his wife..

This again?

This episode was a good one, particularly with the dynamics between Xi Huan and Han Xiang. I like how this drama has approached their relationship, and also how Xi Huan takes his brother's rejection. Instead of stomping off and pouting, Xi Huan actively seeks to reunite himself and his brother.

However, amnesia again? Why does plot scheme always appear with rich boy, not-as-well-off girl rom-coms? Suddenly, because of the fight, the Mi En that Xi Huan comes to find is now the Mi En that Xi Huan doesn't remember. My question is how Mi En will take this bout with amnesia, seeing that this time, it's real.

I just hope they don't drag this out too long. They only have 2 episodes left, so I hope we are not kept wondering until the very end whether these two will ever get together. I want to see some cute XiHuan/MiEn and HanXiang/AiLin moments before the end.

Great Ending!

I guess I was wrong after all. How could they REALLY kill Shun while everyone else wasn't dead at all in the end? T_T

But I'm sooo glad Takashi survived. The fighting scene between him and Makoto was so sad and emotional..

And Makoto became a police officer, that's great!

I still don't get the two kissing police men, though - I didn't get them from the beginning, but whatever. ;)

Now on to the Special. :D

Let's be honest, for a finale, it was kind of weak!

Overall, a good episode but I guess I was expecting a little more. There was a lot of flashback scenes to previous episodes, I was happy to see the young Sun Woo and Jang Il actor's again. The funny thing was every scene between Sun Woo and Jang Il, I was expecting Jang Il to bash Sun Woo over the head again! Every time, Jang Il was behind Sun Woo, I was nervous as heck :-D! When they had the scenes where Jang Il was hospitalized in a mental hospital, all I kept thinking of is "He's faking! Temporary insanity defense!" Boy, I had serious mistrust issues with his character! Everything was resolved but the one nagging question at the end was what happened to Jang Il? You heard mentioned as if he was still alive after the cliff scene but they did not show what had happened so we are clueless. Sun Woo's blindness that kept coming and going just miraculously healed itself. Had a problem with that. I had a problem with him taking off without Ji Won but it was nice that she went after her man at the end. And guess what! The first tears we ever got to see her shed! I was convinced she was a robot! But all and all, this was worth watching from beginning to end. Repeat factor-90% (there are some episodes I would skip). Much props to Uhm Tae Woong and Lee Joon Hyun for stellar performances. And last but not least, why did the ending Sun Woo look younger than all of the previous episodes? Was there a change in stylist!?

90/10

I seriously thought that I wouldn't cry while watching this drama.

Anyways, it seems that a lot of predictions I've seen came true (the one dying was Bu Yong, etc.) but there was a small difference as she died from eating the dried persimmons and why she was wearing Her Highness' clothes instead.

One thing that I would've liked to know was whether or not Tae Yong woke up. At the ending, it showed him (w/o a necklace, so I just assumed it was Tae Yong instead of Yi Gak coming back from Joseon magically); although it'd be nice to actually see the character awaken.

And because of all that has happened, did it rewrite history? I mean, because the Joseon Tae Mu got beheaded, did it change anything, like present-day Tae Mu didn't punch Tae Yong?

Ooh, and Pyo Taek Su(?) didn't wear a bow-tie in this episode :D it was tie instead!
