The story-line is not long, it is short but intense, the whole film is so detailed and carefully focusing on the little things that make the big scene.
It's thrilling, exciting, and very entertaining - well, in a very emotional way.. Gotta say.
The casts are brilliant, well-known actors & actresses with their phenomenal performances are shining as usual there, Uchino Masaaki is slaying his role as he always does, his English accent is pretty good compared to the most of the Japanese actors & actresses who aren't used to speak the language, anyway.. I'm obsessed with him since ever, his charming personality comes through every role he performs!
All the Japanese cast were so much into the environment that was displayed through the story, their humbleness, kindness, modesty and their warmth, all and more are shown perfectly there in every single movement.
To be honest, I know none of these Turkish actors but I fell in love with them all immediately! & a big shout out to (Mustafa), the Turkish actor -I have no idea what's his real name- is indeed a prince charming, not only because of his pretty face and fancy uniform, but also because of his gusty character, nobleness, broken heart & softness, everything was combined in his character & this Turkish actor never failed to convey it throughout his smart performance.
The Music is not super wow, but it was meaningful and descriptive enough to get you drown into the depth of the scenes - yes, it's all about a trip in the deep of the sea, you don't float, you sink beneath its waves!
Finally and briefly, the moral of the story is all about (Karma), You do 'good', and 'good' gets back to you - even after years! & it is so powerful to see it with your own eyes and to hear it with your own ears, it is history and history never lies. So Yes, go and watch it and have some goosebumps.
Last but not least -I just said finally but I came back, doesn't matter!-.
It is a huge piece of art, a distinguished human project, a unique collaboration between two nations, massive efforts that have been accumulated to come as this movie, so.. Hats Off to everyone had a small or a big part on this movie, you are done with your life agendas, don't worry about doing something great in your life, you've already done one, you're an accomplished person..

Wang Kai was great as the strong and fair leader, Ji Bai. The leads have great chemistry. Wang Olivia is totally awesome as Xu Xu. She is smart, strong and great at adapting. Plus, she is pretty fearless. I enjoyed her character so much. All the actors are good.
The music is good.
I will probably rewatch this someday.
If you like detective shows with action and a slow romance, then this is the drama for you.

For an 8 episode drama, the series did an amazing job telling a heart-felt story and concluded it well, with no plot holes or empty ending. While I wouldn't label the series too dramatic or too sweet; it's mature and well thought out with a balance of ages that makes it appealing to young and old drama watchers. All the characters good and bad, minor and major get fleshed out fairly well and their relationships with one another are well identified. While some elements of the plot are a little typical, they aren't so glaringly obvious as to ruin watching. I was on my toes through the entire 8 episodes.
While Yuri and Kasumi are the main couple, we also get a taste (just a taste) of young love found in Tsugumi (Kasumi's son) and Kameko. We also see relationships that aren't lovey-dovey with Riri's admiration for Yuri, Yoji's sense of loss for a particular character, and more. The story isn't just a love story, but one of relationships and how they can blossom or rot.
Aside from Saito Takumi, I wasn't familiar with the majority of the cast, but everyone was excellent. There was an amazing chemistry between all the characters. The story played out well. The music was so-so, mood appropriate but nothing much more. I'm not a huge re-watch fan, but this is one I might revisit should I need a breather between highschool aged romance and rom-coms.
I highly recommend this series for those who love a serious romance, or are just tired of rom-coms and highschool aged love. It surely won't disappoint.

For me Wallace did a fantastic job balancing the roles of the adorably infuriating know-it-all, a doofus-in-love, a genius profiler, and mysteriously scary Allen.Sandra Ma came across as over exaggerating in her crying scenes at the beginning but she won be over towards the end with her solid performance.I also enjoyed the fact that her character wasn't the typical plucky energetic heroine which I think definitely added to her charm.
The OTP was great as their romance was strong whilst be subtle and understated which is hard to pull off.Andrew Yin was the comic relief in this and I think that contributed to the success of this drama as well,I'll be looking out for him in the future. And overall all the other characters were solid as well.
Like I mentioned before I had to be patient at the beginning since the first few cases weren't really my cup of tea.I think what got me hooked was when the cases started to focus on Xie Han and that was the moment that we truly entered the suspenseful climax of the story.I won't spoil anything but there were some scenes/actions which happened to hastily for my liking, the twist at the ending didn't make much sense to me...
However if you're a long time kdrama fan wanting to dip your toe into the ocean of cdramas I would definitely recommend Love me if you dare (as long as you don't mind crime thriller moments). The love story between the OTP makes up for some of those first cases as well as the many twists they provide.

The greatest weakness are one dimensional characters so i really didnt care for HaNi's prince aka Chef. They never explores his character further from his face blindness to his stern nature that dissolved to nothing aft a few encounters with our mermaid.
Some other characters fare better. Hyun Myung was a thoroughly good guy, sweet and does all the heroic things without saying a peep. Hye Yeong potrayed by the awesome Seul Hi was exceptional and fun. She has her own loveline with Big. Hani the mermaid literally brought out tje bubbles from the sea, shes bubbly, outgoin, childish but adorable. And her fairy godmother is veteran actor Ahn Kil Kang currently playing Kim Bokju's father in weightlifting fairy.
The first two episodes takes some getting use to as the comedic side was lashed out outrageously n a bit out of the norm for K dramas. They do dial that down lateron. The show also suffers from pacing. Cause by end of ep 9 you can literally hear the pd shouts Wrap it up hence ep 10 feels rushed. You have just gotten use to the surplus house and its inhabitants and suddenly they chased you out. Thats the result of 4 episodes being cut off.
Regardless its enjoyable for being an oddball, being alittle kooky and also its potrayal of how love isnt like what naive Hani imagined it to be. Additional .5 marks cause im happy a real couple is born from this drama and happy to report they are still dating.

Detective in love
Snail... was the best detective drama that I watched in 2016. The writing and production format were the equivalent of a British detective drama. The plot is very intricate, and it is best to binge-watch the drama, to maintain the continuity and focus. The detective team demonstrated the true meaning of teamwork and loyalty. Ji Bai represents the true team leader; pragmatic, unemotional, inspiring. All the actors did a very good job with their character roles. The drama villains were the Ye extended family members. Wang Kai/Ji Bai's action scenes were flawless.

The devil asks a pretty good question to the main character here.
I was reluctant to watch this movie. Plots about illness aren’t my piece of cake but this time I gave it a try.
Unexpectedly , this movie doesn’t even talk about illness so seriously.
The plot is simple but its has lots of good life lessons tangled up in its story.
THE PLOT:
A young boy finds out that he has just a day to live due to a terminal illness. He meets the devil who gives him the opportunity to extend his life for just one day each time he decides to erase something from this world.
It might sounds like the typical sad movie in which the main character struggles to survive and die miserable because of the pain of his incurable illness. Maybe with a love story who makes you cry during the movie.
Thanks God, it isn’t.
The Devil isn’t just tempting the main character. He’s teaching him a lesson. Would you erase everything from this world, basically your own valuable memories and things, just to run away from your death? During the movie the main character is tested by the devil. Erasing things, like cellphones or movies, means to erase all the good memories connected to them. He wasn’t just erasing things, he was erasing his own life from this world.
CHARACTERS:
Different types of characters faced each other in this movie.
The best friend with his touching sentences about friendship and his huge obsession for movies.
The ex girlfriend met thanks to a wrong call.
The parents and their pretty common family.
The Devil, with his long fingers and his sarcastic giggle.
The Devil was supposed to play the bad guy here. But in the end he was actually helping out the main lead.
Amazing acting skills, Takeru’s crying scenes are so stunning that almost makes you cry along with him.
I’ll give this movie a 9.5 out of 10. The cinematography is stunning, even though some scenes were badly filmed.

The story is light and plaesant, so that I didn't notice how each episode came to an end...
Acting was good enough...
All those who are looking for a pleasant and romantic drama, I recommend you to start watching this drama immediately...

Story:
As I've already have mentioned it probably won't be new to some of you as similar themes have been done before maybe not a Korean movie but it's still not “brand new”. However the way it was delivered, the emotional journey you go through while watching it makes it one of the most quality story lines for such types of movies I've seen thus far. I did not expect to get all emotional while watching this, I can assure of that, but things just don't always turn out they way you expect them to do.
Pandora story is told in a way that would get you attached to the characters very fast!! This is just beyond wonderful because normally it takes a whole drama with 16 ep+ for me to get attached to the characters (that is if I get attached at all). Somehow in Pandora, you can relate to the characters and feel them, which is what makes it a very emotional ride without being a tearjerker or tire you down with emotional scenes on purpose. In fact, this is what I loved about the plot, it not trying to be over the top or play the emotion game. The writer has managed to keep things in tact without draining you with all the tragic events. Pandora story pretty much mastered the love, friendship, loyalty, sacrifice, neighbors, heroic acts, dirty politicians... all in one plot which is over 2 hours without tiring me.
Acting:
Kim Nam Gil: He is the main reason why I decided to go all the way to the cinema in the cold harsh winter and watch this movie, which didn't appeal to me at first. If you are reading this review and have never seen anything for this man I earnestly ask you to pls hunt his profile down and WATCH HIM! Simply because there are no words that could be said, enough to compliment this amazing actor. He has yet again embraced me with his impressive beyond words performance but this time with a Jeolla Satturi accent! This is my first time watching him preform this accent and he's one of the best K-actors who perfectly mastered it to the point that I had to remind myself that it is truly KNG! His performance didn't just move me, it moved the whole audience in the theater, and the whole hall was crying in tears and crying in heart. Amazing heartfelt sincerity that broke my heart into pieces.
Jeong Jin Yeong: This man owned the first half of the movie! I've had the pleasure of seeing this actor before but I was even more delighted to see him here because what he showed me here is on a whole different level. He is my favorite character from start to end, loved Pyeong Seob with all my heart! Such a courageous, righteous, wonderful character played by this wonderful mister.
Han Joo Hyun: What a wonderful surprise! I've seen this girl twice but never like in Pandora. This movie has to be her breakthrough! When I was watching her I couldn't resist falling for her, her character is my 2nd favorite but how Joo Hyun played it is just too precious. The whole time I was so impressed I couldn't avoid my girl-crush. She stood her ground as a new talent among these giant actors! Bravo!
As for the rest of the cast I honestly loved them all, Kim Myung Min, Lee Kyeong Yeong, Kim Young-Ae what a stellar cast!
Re-watch
I don't really re-watch things (except for few exceptions), and in my opinion even for those who do re-watch I don't think it's the type of movie that you'd want re-watch.
Overall
**Although I would love to say this is a movie for everyone, but it would be wiser to say that it's a movie for those who don't mind bloody scenes. The story isn't aggressive but "nuclear power plant" is involved so scenes of injuries are bound to happen, just a warning ahead for those who hate the sight of blood.
Compelling emotional story, high quality direction and production, and finally stellar cast. I’d love to state all the points I loved about it but I tried not to give anything away so I will conclude my review in one sentence, “try not to miss Panodra” :)

Story: I will start off this section by saying I have not seen the original drama that this is based off of. This is really your typical rom com story, but I think this was different for me. I honesty really got suck in with it, and with episodes only 30-40 minutes long it easy to binge watch.
Acting/Cast: I was really impressed with Ha Suk Jin in this show, he was really the stand out role for me in this drama, and I really want to see more from him (which gets me really excited because he is mainly supporting roles though). Jeon So Min had her really great moments too. The supporting cast did the job right for a rom com, and I'm happy with the casting choices.
Music:Now I'm usually one who is keen on music on show because I like to listen to OST a lot. I did like one song from this (which I had to search up because I honesty got suck up in the story of this that I needed to listen to one of the song), and that is I Want You Bad. other than that the music was OK.
Rewatch/Overall value: Overall I gave this a 10 because it stuck with me, I did think about a 9.5 but I decided a 10. I will rewatch this some day.

On my rating scale, this means « just boring ». When I started it, I had high expectations. The setting was interesting, this was supposed to be a cohabitation drama with a sort of forbidden love we're not used to see. There was even another interesting twist with a lot of potential to bring in some action, the male mc background. Yet, they managed to make it all sooo pointless.
Romance & comedy
I never watched a drama with so little chemistry between the leads. I don't even think it's the actors fault. How can there be nearly no skinship in a cohabitation drama? Just erase the kiss scene and they could have been real step-father and daughter for all I care! All they talked about was how to keep their land and make dumplings. There was nearly no tension between them, you can only expect some cutesy if you like it.
Highlight on the second male lead
On the other side, Lee Soo Hyuk's story was much more interesting. I actually enjoyed his scenes with Shin Se Hwi, his sister in the drama, more than the two leads together. He was a breath of fresh air. At least, I had fun watching him and he's probably the only reason why I managed to finish this drama. (That and because I watched it while it was airing.) On a side note, red really suits this actor. One more thing, if you don't like love triangles, this drama might still please you. Hong Na Ri never gives lawyer Kwon Deok Bong a real chance, neither does Go Nan Gil with anyone.
Background story
This is hard to describe without giving some spoilers, but I'll try. Let's just say that Go Nan Gil past is sure to bring some troubles, dangerous troubles. With that, you can expect him to save the damsel in distress while fighting in front of her, right? Don't. He does fight from time to time and, just because he's good at fighting, everyone seems afraid of him. But come on! His opponents could just try to kill him, it's not like they actually care about life. They could also try to hurt Hong Na Ri, but they don't think of it. With that, another potential interesting story just fell flat.
Music
That's one of the few things I liked. It was fresh, light-hearted and put me in a good mood.

This is the first role of Atsuko Maeda that i seen since Q10 and i have to say that she has improved a lot. Plus she has got much prettier.
I have been a fan of Haruna Kawaguichi since i saw her performance in detective vs detectives and though this film was before then Haruna's performance here is still impressive.
Music was pretty good but got much better near the end when the music club and cheer club joins in.
Overall i loved this movie because in addition to great acting and story it also reinforces the lesson that with teamwork and support you will be able to achieve your dreams someday.
Minami Minegishi i know from AKB48 but she is also a surprisingly good actress. Here she delivered her lines perfectly though her facial expressions could use some work.
The overall story i found to be really good and heartwarming and especially near the end where nearly the whole school ends up helping the team. That was a great scene and seeing each of the different clubs working together to help them is hearwarming.
The final match was well played and it was nice to see the team that was ranked so low to actually be able to win the title.

Initially it was very fun to watch, it's funny, clever and witty, but somewhere in the middle of the show, it made me bored, because of pyo na ri's attitude. I cannot understand her decision to like both of the guys, although i know that hwa shin is interesting guy but i believe the other guy is better hahaha. After that i skipped so many episodes and watched the last one. Was this review helpful to you?
Before watching I already knew the this would be a sad story but at the same time I am confident that I would not cry, I am kind of immune to that since I've seen a lot of sad movies, and I am right, I didn't cry, but that doesn't mean the story is NOT sad cause it is, but I felt that that they made the ending bitter sweet because based on how people describe the anime it would have been a cry fest.
Now for the thing that I really like, the theme in the movie, I love how the movie conveys their connection thru music, I felt that it is so romantic like it is their love letter for each other, and just like the phrase they say to each other "will it reach you?". With that theme conveyed so well only made their performances so much better, technically they are already brilliant but with so much emotions attached to the performance made that scene EPIC.
Cinematography is beautiful, it is one of those colorful Japanese movies, seems to be the trend nowadays. Music is given to be excellent but what I am surprised is how well they play the instruments, one movie come to mind that could rival this in terms of the skills of playing the instruments in a movie and that is Jay Chou's "Secret". I like the ending song as well, I don't understand japanese but its melody captures the ambiance of the movie.
Great acting from both Kento and Suzu, you can tell that they come a long way especially Suzu but now I can say they are capable of portraying complicated characters. It is reported that they went intense training playing violin and piano for their respective roles and it paid off well as their performance is believable, which is important to be called a good adaptation and they nailed it in this department. Side characters are the issue here like I didn't feel them, probably lack of screen time I guess, such a shame though because I really want to see more of Anna Ishii, I felt that her talent was wasted in her role.
I feel that many guys will love this film like imagine one day you saw a beautiful girl under a cherry tree then from that moment your life change, happens to me (not under the cherry tree though).
Kaori: Did I find a place in your heart?
Arima: You step all over it.
-literally me

Kamen Rider Gaim suffers from one of the most nonsensical plots in a Rider series with extremely arbitrary reasoning behind anything that occured behind the show. Expect "Because i felt like it" to be the main explanation for why anything important happens in Gaim. The main character himself seems to rely on plot devices to achieve his goals rather than actually developing into a competent human being that functions on any sliver of logic. Oh yeah, the acting from the main character himself and a few others isn't the best. Despite all of this, the story is strangely addictive to watch; Nothing really makes sense and everything is a mess but you'll find yourself wanting to see what happens next anyway.
Gaim is a multi-rider show so you can expect a lot of rider vs rider fights in place of typical rider vs monster fights. If you're into multi-rider shows, you may get some enjoyment from the fighting in this show. However, the fighting choreography for Gaim was a letdown compared to the previous show, Kamen Rider Wizard, which had very stylish fighting choreography with lots of great stunts. The titular rider, Gaim, has a very bland approach to his fight scenes and this also applies to many of the other characters in the series. I can only really think of two characters who I felt had good fight scenes but they don't get nearly enough screentime to make much of a positive impact on the show.
Kamen Rider Gaim is an enjoyable watch under its many flaws. The comedy gags can be entertaining and the henshin scenes are still very fun. I would argue that Kamen Rider Gaim is a good show in itself but not a good Kamen Rider show. It's definitely worth the watch if you want some mindless fun but it wouldn't be anywhere near a classic. Honestly, Kamen Rider Gaim would have been a better show if you removed Gaim himself from the show. There are lots of characters so you'll definitely find at least one you like. Give Gaim a shot if you haven't but don't expect anything amazing.
